In my defense, your honour...
OK, OK, OK... I have been forced into a response to the previous puerile post...
..but first... a few confessions.... no, I didn't finish the book... yes, the book had very little relevance to my life... and lastly, yes, I did say certain things in previous posts to wind people up....
... hold one-darn-cotton-pickin'-minute....!!!.. at least the book I didn't finish reading was based in semi-recent times (the 1800's) and was based in England.... which marks a few differences from books such as "the seven samurai", set in the 1500's and based in Japan....!!!... now who's looking for relevance to our own lives..!!!... and I wonder who reads those kind of books (scratchy!)..!
...and I have been reading other books in between, so NO Shaila, I haven't just read one page per day...!!... I've just got myself caught on not being able to finish that one...!... I read two pages of 1759 last night...!!!
I did enjoy the book.... kind of... Thomas Hardy's "Far from the madding crowd" was much better though... even recommended...
Now all I have to do is update the front picture.... I'll have a look...
