A Momentous Change

I don't know if anybody else has noticed, but there has been a momentous change on Nick's Blog!

Almost as long as I can remember, on the lefthand side beneath the suave picture of Nick, under the 'I am now reading:' banner has been a small picture of the front cover of The Mayor of Casterbridge by Thomas Hardy.

This has been there for at least three months and probably more like four or five - but it's all changed now as Nick has obviously finished it and he is now reading 1759: The Year Britain became Master of The World.

All I'd like to ask is what did you get out of The Mayor of Casterbridge? Did it bear any relation to your life, or was it just difficult to read and too academic to be useful for anything? Is it now holding up your bed?

Yes like you Martin, I was pleasently suprised to find that Nick is reading a new book.

Maybe he was reading 1 page a day?
